I believe a number of the traditional Italian restaurants in HH use wood burning ovens - I cant remember its name, but the one opposite Brasserie de Paris near the fishing pier, certainly has one.barbera wrote:Has anyone seen recently a Pizzaria/Restaurant in Hua Hin with a wood-fired oven?
In my opinion it is the only way to cook a pizza.

Hilton, Pizza garden soi 94, Aglio olio ( not sure of the name) Nebkahart rd North of You Yen 50 meters. Also a new place on Sa song rd. a little south of the night market across from the Bus station. It also has kebob. Not sure of the name or the hours. Its a small place.

Re: Pizza
I would pay my left gonad for a real schawarma here. When I was working in Saudi, that and (b)roasted chicken were the only fast food available and I learned to love a real Saudi Schawarma. The place in Market Village next to the food court has a decent imitation, but even that falls far short of the real thing.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
Re: Pizza
To come back to Pizza and personal preferences. For me the location, ambiance and view is important too, I dont like eating in a back Soi with a view of the garbage cans. TV blaring and dogs sniffing around.
I like Pizza Di Roberta (Previously Pizza Corner) it is a prime location, good to watch the precession walking past and serves crisp, thin crust pizza with a cheese that has an Italian bite. The size is smaller than other places, but is an ideal size for one person.
