INTERNET CONNECTION

Post by Viking »

I am about to stay a long time in Hua Hin and would like to have my own high speed Internet connection. Any body out there having some advice or recommendations please?

If you look at the computer section of this forum board, there are some useful tips there.
I'm definitely no computer expert, but the connections I've tried are CS and Loxinfo. They're OK, but not what you might consider "high speed" - at least not for me.
I've also got TOT free, but this is definitely SLOW. Internet usage time may be free, but it took me 20 mins to get my e-mails this morning.
Some high speed links are available, but from what I hear, extremely expensive.
I had to resort to an internet cafe yesterday and that was seriously quick - owner told me he had some 1 million something connection- I've obviously misunderstood that, but it was good.

Welcome to the board.
Suggest you have a read through some of the posts in the "Digtial Realm" section of this board ... where I'm moving this thread to now.
