.
Are you sinners also constantly and incessantly being plagued by the message:
"Link to Loxinfo failed. Redial pending"
This message appears when the telephone connection suddenly and for no apparent reason is cut off.
This seems to happen no matter where I am surfing, so it is a Thai problem.
Any advise?
.
Connectus interruptus?
dodgy cables
Dropping off your connection could be due to one of two things (or both):
Firstly I'd suspect your phone line (and yes we know phone lines in Thailand are about as good as roads in Cambodia!). Theres not much you can do really as the pelicans at TOT will only tell you the line is fine .... for calling.
Second could be your modem, internal or 'soft' modems draw power from the CPU so are less reliable. I've seen this disconnecting more on laptops where they have crappy internal modems. I use an external USB modem and it rarely gets dropped off.
It could also be your ISP but from my experience CS/Lox seem to be one of the better ones so I'd suspect one of the above.
Theres an article about it here:

You bet dude!
I have had better luck with TT&T, however there are still occaisional service outages and inconsistent hook-up speeds. Lox is generally faster but thats useless if get you booted at the most inopportune times. (as was my experience)
