As far as I can see AIS has Fox Sports 1, 2 and 3. These 3 channels are on local cable and don't have any EPL. You can Google fox sports Thailand to see the schedules.

I will. I know back in the good old days of 365 Sport they used Fox Sport a lot, as does HD Prime (unless it's one of the channels they've dropped).

That would be Fox sports UK I guess. Different market, different agreements, different contract period.

I will check it out at the AIS shop and report back. 365 and HDPrime used to be an Asian service (from Malaysia I think).

my thoughts and prayers are with you. having lived in huahin for 7 years, living in flordia now, I stay informed on local news by reading hhad. I'll get to the topic but first this little pat on the back to BB. a few posters on this site are invalueable ,you BB may be on top of that list. enough. when I lived on hh my 2 best friends were also American, aka the 2 Chucks. we would search everywhere for NBA, NFL, and baseball. many leads resulting in a futile search after search with 0 results. but everyone else was watching soccer, cricket and rugby and as happy as larks while they " rogered [FLASHMAN quote] and drank themselves silly. so small blessings. can't another great poster,BUKSET?, lend you a hand? will good luck

If is only the billing process that's causing you a problem, you might like to try their online billing and payment system. All you have to do is create a True ID - I did this a couple of years ago and it was extremely simple, you just had to supply a mobile number but now I think you might need to use the Thai ID number of the person the number belongs to. Anyway, once you have a True ID you can either use their website (on a PC) or the iService app (on Android / iOS) to both view any outstanding bills (including downloading an itemized bill in pdf format if you want) and to pay online as well.

I've been using the online billing and payment method with no problems whatsoever, since I switched to True Online for my Internet service about 6 months ago, partly because it also included a free TV package with many Thai and English language channels and gives you the right to add all 6 beIN sports channels for only an additional 199 Baht a month.

With a True ID you can also watch the games for free on your phone, tablet or PC if you happen to be away from the house (data charges would apply if you're not using WiFi, though).

This guy is currently advertising on fb and offers a free mid week trial or pay 200 Baht for a day pass at weekend. If the free day works OK then worth paying the 200 Baht as you need to know if EPL will stream OK. And you get 100 back if you subscribe.

Now a question for the techies: What's the difference in the quality of the service provided by these different providers of streams ? Does their equipment affect the stream or is the quality for the viewer dependent on their internet connection and playing through a suitable device, eg 3GB android box as opposed to say 1GB laptop ?

Buying a technical service from a bloke off facebook is like buying a used car from a geezer you just met in a pub. "Of course it'll start next week mate."

No different to buying HDprime or EXpat TV etc online as some subscribers found out recently......and other than True I don't think any of these suppliers of this style of product have a shop you can walk into.....

For the channels listed above, this is a good option and it's free. It's almost buffering free. Comes somewhere between Expat TV when it first started and was shut down. 'For me' it's a lot better than the likes of HDPrime for the available channels, but is there any point having 200+ channels if they don't actually work (for me - I know some people have no problems).

I have only used it a few times (still prefer downloads), but I think it's very good.

After my experience with expat TV, there's no way I am paying 2500 baht up front as it's only a matter of time before they all go the same way.

I agree, HDprime only lets you pay monthly and I believe the one above has monthly options. I was putting it out there as BB requested alternatives.

For basic TV, you're not going to beat what the link I've given you provides completely free of charge. My son had a Chromecast bought for him on his birthday, which means I can control TV from my armchair via my laptop.

Still prefer my downloads though :D

Another free option is: http://www.tvcatchup.com/channels + http://www.tvcatchup.com/tv-guide

Despite the name, this site provides LIVE UK TV (32 channels). I've used it almost daily for 6 months with now problems (other than a dodgy site attaching to it for a fortnight, but being detected and blocked by my anti-virus.)
