I would like to convert some old VHS tapes for my mother staying here, and saw both J.J.B. and Laser have Analogue video to Digital converters. Is it possible to borrow one of these to convert the tapes, if one is available? Or can i buy one now in Hua Hin? Time is short as leaving soon, and unfortunately delivery from internet is too late. Tried messaging JJB and Laser but doesnt seem to work- and not sure if doing it right. Just re-joined now after 10 years, maybe takes a while to PM? Many thanks
You will notice a couple of posts up that I have stated where you can get this done at what I believe to be a reasonable cost.

Make one more post and your PM facility will be enabled.

thanks Big Boy for the info. Prefer to get the A to D converter if possible, as have quite a few VHS to convert, many holidays etc and so she can watch them for quite a while too. Have an old VCR but its on its last legs, so best convert anyway, cheers
