Think it could be battery but would need for it to be diagnosed and checked for faults .
Bought in Bangkok March this year and only now found out that the warranty is for Thailand only .
Cannot be repaired even if warranty is not in place here in UK .
Samsung , being polite , are less than helpful , their suggestion take it back to Bangkok and let them check it out under warranty 24 months but that there is only 6 months for battery , this from their customer service , in an online chat on 2 different occasions , whose first language was not English , and by a Samsung dealer here in UK ,who state that software and spares are only available in country of purchase
Checked on internet , too late now , but this is a problem with Samsung phones tablets etc , even though as I was being told that there was a worldwide warranty .
As we will only be in Bangkok overnight on next visit it does not leave me enough time to get it looked at there but plenty of time in Hua Hin .
