CSD shop near Tesco food court at MV has some fairly cheap Windows tablets, which may be suitable for a child. About 3000 baht I think. I dont know what the games availability is for Windows, but You Tube should be OK. Probably with warranty as well.

I will probably order this one tomorrow unless anyone highlights any major issues with it.

Chuwi Hi8 Pro for 3,990 Baht. 2 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM which can be expanded with SD card, Windows 10 and I believe Microsoft office according to some UK reviews. Camera is poor but I don't intend to use the camera on it. It is for my young son but I envisage that if I go away I would probably take this instead of my laptop.

Seems a ridiculously low price, so no doubt camera/lense is poor. Not going to be suitable for games etc., but I'm sure OK for videos and Emails etc.

Windows 10 would also be a concern IMHO - despite the fact that I hate it, it pulls a great deal of memory. Use Android!!
