I see they are now offering australian channels, for us aussies it would be ok, but i am from the eastern states and was hoping to view the rugby union, rugby league and the nrl footy shows. The broadcast comes from perth so we will miss out. Its only of interest to me if i can watch the football, if you want rugbyleague, please email thai expat tv and ask if the aussie broadcast can be sent from queensland or nsw instead.

What i like about thai expat tv, is i can watch everything on replay, i don't think 365 you can?

I also subscribe to rugbypass.com which also allows me to watch all games on replay, i was hoping to drop their service and watch it under the one banner with thai expat tv as well as access to tv shows as well

Yes, 365 offer exactly the same facilities as Expat TV. 365 is the perfect companion to Expat TV.

Hello Aussies, :)

wanted to ask you about the new "Aussie package" of Thai Expat TV. :)
Several of the new channels seem to feature a lot of identical Home Shopping programmes.

I am also interested in Wallaby Rugby Union international matches. :thumb:

Which Aussie channel would cover those? Is it part of the package?

Thanks! :D

Major Bloodnok, the problem i think is the broadcast for the aussie channels comes from western australia, which is not the rugby heartland, so unlikely to be covered by thai expat tv, unless they broadcast from new south wales or queensland states. Big boy has offered 365 as an option, but it would be a 1000bht add on just to get rugby games and frankly rugbypass.com is cheaper and very good. I would however prefer to pay thai expat tv a little more and have the rugby/rugby league available through their service.

Re: Tv providers in Hua Hin

I have been using ThaiExpat.tv for a number of years now and have always been impressed with the service.
So much in fact that I continued using the service even after leaving Thailand.

Last week, I suddenly encountered a major problem.
I could no longer connect to the service because "Server could not be found".
I contacted ThaiExpat.tv customer service via email and received a reply within 15 minutes.
After a few emails backwards and forwards and them accessing my computer remotely with my permission, they ran some tests and were able to identify the problem - routing from my ISP to Thailand. Within a short while, they managed to set up a workaround so I was at least able to watch the service from my PC.
So far, so good - but they didn't stop there.
They then contacted my ISP outside of Thailand in an attempt to get the problem fixed permanently from this end.
Now a few days later, I'm happy to report that the problem has finally been completely resolved.

This really is a case of a company going the extra mile(s) to ensure customer satisfaction.
I'm pretty sure that, without the commitment shown by ThaExpat.tv, this situation would not have been resolved yet.

I really cannot praise this company highly enough!!

It's always good to hear a 'good news' story. I've tried the cheaper alternatives, but it's well worth paying a little extra (and it is a little in the grand scheme of things) for the extra service.

I have generally received a problem free service, but on the couple of times there have been issues, their response has been excellent both in speed and solution- as above, a company worthy of praise
