"An Incredibly Simple Mistake Brought Down The Man Behind Kickass Torrents"

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

With KAT seemingly gone, are there any recommended torrent sites for software rather than movies/shows? In the past I'd always used KAT for the former and Yiffy for the latter.

Ta muchly in advance......

Thanks Rob, but everytime I try to download the torrent I seem to be taken around the block and then asked for a Credit/Debit Card number - which quite frankly is a no-no.

Cheers anyway.. :thumb:

It's there, and gives the impression that it would work, but what about the need to sign up for a free account - whats that all about please?

I get the same message as BB. Think I followed the link a week or so ago and they were asking for credit/debit card details for a free account. No way they were getting those.

It might be worth running Spybot and Malwarebytes to see what they find. Also download Adblockplus...... it will stop the majority of intrusive adverts.

The clever little weazels still sometimes find their way into the system and I religiously run both of these progs every week.
Adblockplus just sits in the background monitoring your system for crap adverts.

I'm getting an error message saying "Website is Offline"..... :(

@ robcar - thanks for the reminder of "spybot" and "malwarebytes" and also for the links - trying glodls.to which seems to be working..... Fingers crossed.

Looks like the new KAT then is redirecting some browsers to malware or a phishing site - if that is the case dont use it.

Though I dont get any redirects, credit card, or account requests - it downloads as it did before.
