No matter what picture or jpeg size I try to upload I am told the size is too big even when it is under size. How do you upload a Avatar

Bill, don't worry - it'll work. To start, tell me what you've been doing so far.
If it helps, attach your picture in your reply, and I'll make sure that it's fit for purpose before we try again.

While waiting for your reply, I've just been reminding myself of the process ie:
1. It's best to resize your photo before you start.
2. Go into User Control Panel (top right of screen).
3. Choose Profile from the left hand menu.
4. Choose Edit Image from the left hand menu.
5. Browse your image and follow the on-screen instructions.
Let me know how you get on.

Well done Bill
I have a piece of software on my laptop for re-sizing.
If you need to re-size anything else, Lev recommends using this link www.shrinkpictures.com

It's personal choice. Generally, I would simply use Post Reply. However, if I was replying to a specific part of another post, or a sring that has had several entries since the post I'm replying to, I'd use Quote.

That shrink pictures thingy is so good that a computer airhead like me can even use it.
As Michelle Wie hasn't been winning - at least I've not seen her lately on The Golf Channel - I decided to change my avatar. Using the above software and following BB's instructions, it was easy. But my brain hurts now.
