Other forums in Thailand

Post by Arcadian »

We are moving to Hua Hin in April and have been told that some friends who I havnt seen for 25 years are currently somewhere in Tahiland manufacturing and selling pasties! If anyone know a David and Sheila Reed or any forums similar to HHAD in any other resorts please let me know.
Thanks

A quick reminder that HHAD linking policy does not permit URL's other forums ... though its only really one they don't like.

I always thought it was Bill & Sheila, 25 years is a long time, I hope I'm talking about the same people.

The last I heard they were living around the Sport Villa area, not sure if they are still there. I last saw them sat in one of their favourite places to sit and watch the world go by, which is a restaurant called The Boat, close to the night market by the central bus station. They would probably know if they are still in Hua Hin, I know the staff there and will ask for you next time I'm around there and not just driving past.

Sheila broke her leg a few years ago and found it hard to get around for a while, but still her great bubbly self, nice couple of people, I'll certainly try and find out for you.

Thanks JD. They are Devonians and still probably speak with a West Country accent.

JD the couple who live behind Sport Villa and frequent the Boat are a couple from Yorkshire - Leeds I think called Brynn and Sheila.
