Dealing with animals in Thailand for 5 years, very little surprises me any more, although many things sadden me. The only thing that surprises me in this is that it's farangs trading in the old for the new & that neither of you seem to see anything wrong with it.

For Spot's sake, I hope your search for a new home for him is successful. I agree with you on that, he would be better off elsewhere, with someone who is prepared to commit to him, so hope you find a loving home for him soon. I know far more dog than cat people, but I will try & put the word around. In the meantime, have you tried putting notices with a pic of him in vets & pet shops?

I have 4 cats

All of them arrived and never left in various ways .Each newcomer was beaten into place (by the other cats) before acceptance over several weeks ,without physical damage .They are now all fat and happy together .Animals come into your life for a reason .Wrecking furniture and computers in my case most of the time .They are however welcome to stay and be fed for as long as they wish .

If you wish a cat to leave simply look it in the eye and communicate your desire for it to do so .You do not need to talk ,the cat will understand .

Should the cat be a true power animal or spirit guide you will know .Just open your chakras and commune .

Love and light

Spot is the first cat I've ever had in my life. Maybe I didn't do such a good job raising him.

It sounds like I should open my chakras AND buy a water pistol.

OF COURSE, my preference is that the two cats become friends and live here happily ever after.

Thanks for your advice.

So, Spot must go
At least attempt to sound like you care. It's not a DVD player, model 4.2.5
Discard a family pet of 2 years cos it doesn't like the new one?? You realise cats and dogs have feelings, I'd give my dogs up over me dead body.

You two are mental.

Possibly you could pay for your own session sice a good lil doggie might be a better friend thatg SJ Cheers to that!
