Unfortunately I am flying back from the UK on Friday and don't arrive until Saturday morning, but look forward to viewing some of the photographic evidence!! Have a good evening all.

OK richard, your big day has arrived. What is the protocol for tonight?

- Are we being provided with name badges?
- How do we claim our free drinks from the organiser ?
- What entertainment have you laid on?
- Are ear defenders being provided in the event of somebody going off on one ?
- etc. etc. etc.

Well BB, to start with it's not MY big day. It's a BIG day for all that turn out.I merely floated the first post to generate interest. In the future if this meet up is to be continued say every couple of months someone should be asked to co-ordinate events.

There has never been any format or rules to previous similar events other than the one on the beach where games were organised by a revered past member. Guess it's just a turn up and a free for all as numbers are never guaranteed.

Identification?
A sticky on your forehead, a flag round your shoulders or a tattoo showing your avatar should suffice

Freebies?
Well if you can find an organiser I guess a few will do

Entertainment?
After fifteen minutes of banter from some of the regulars, who needs entertainment?


Ear defenders?
Got me there BB. Hadn't thought that one through. I don't have a problem as I partially deaf and smile nod and just go to the loo. My previous experiences of these events is that participants tend to circulate. Anyway in JW's it's always easy just to step outside and just listen to the traffic and b/g banter

To the hardened bar crawlers I suggest a visit to PP bar, Hogs Breath bar and Romantic bar would be a good start after JW ejects us all

Home made Lasagne is on the menu, its gorgeous!! Its 150 baht a portion with salad and I will give HHFers free chips!
I am in office so will be down a little later.

Disappointing turnout and a bit fragmented. No photos either.

Idea for next one when hopefully more people are in town - why not go for a Indian buffet at Smor Spa, that may encourage more people to take family and kids - we can get a great deal and the nosh is top class!

Actually should support sponsors so choose from places which advertise or have advertorials

Still maintain the best was about 6 years ago on a beach where families came, games were played, food was available and booze of course a prerequisite

Terry's or Barrys were of course an option this time
