If you've read all those books, watched all the DVDs that you got for Christmas or brought to read/ watch on your hols then Dick's Office* Soi 80 on 15 January at 3pm is the place to go to get some replacements.

If you don't/didn't make it to the book swap or didn't find what you wanted, P and B bar that I mentioned before on the "Best Bars in Hua Hin" thread (run by long time Hua Hin resident Barry) now has enough books to warrant a visit. Besides being a good place outside downtown for a beer and a sandwich (or breakfast) he has also kept a good collection of swap books at previous bars and is doing it again. It's on the Pala' U road just over the top of the hill across from the La Valee development in a small row of shop houses (open all day, but closed on Mondays).
Barry reads a lot and has a lot of well read customers so book swapping is very active there.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Paa does some great food too (I'm biased though as shes my niece in law). How she puts up with bazza I'll never know

Have just returned from England and I'm hoping to see Dick tomorrow to see if ok to have a swap on Saturday 16 April. (Would prefer the 9th but the Elephant Polo championships are back in Hua Hin that weekend and traffic may be bad.)
