cheers guys for all the comments,
she is very friendly and wont leave me alone, i do however, already have another dog and it really isnt fair on her to bring in a new member of the family when she is so highly strung.they have already had a fight,and i came off worst. :D :D

If I had to guess where the blame lay, I would point at the Jack Russell, with the staffy joining in the fun (at least thats how the dogs would have seen it) part way through.

I also agree that its down to the way the dogs are brought up.
I would point the blame at the grand parent for leaving a baby in a room with two dogs, that person had a duty of care and has now wrecked the lives of the whole family.
