I've done a search back to the start of 2016 but can't find any info.
I've got an old mountain bike that hasn't been used for a few years so I want gears/brakes given a quick service and one crank is a bit loose that I want looking at.
Anyone know of a small place that can give it the once over, the closer to Soi 94 the better.

LA Bike. Petchasem Rd. gulf side of the street, across from the Honda dealer. good service and at least one of the servicemen speaks enough English to answer your questions and explain what he's doing.

There is a new fairly large bike shop about to open(this week) in market village. Turn hard right at the basement entrance as you go past the currency exchange you will see it. I understand they will do repairs and maintenance.

As has already been mentioned, LA Bike is a reliable place.On the other hand, if you are a bit fussy, then I would recommend Hua-Hin Bike which is on the same side of the road, but a little bit further out towards the palace.
Alternatively, most motorbike repair shops can and will service bicycles for you as well.

Ah, that's what I was hoping for, a small hole in the wall one man place. This bike is probably 10 years old, no disc brakes, and no name on the frame though I suspect it has been painted at some point and I fear a service at a pukkha bike shop will cost more than the bike is worth!
On the plus side it has nice yellow wheels made by an Italian company called grimeca which I've Googled and there's a couple of sets selling on Ebay starting at 20 and 40 GBP

Approx how much would I have to pay for a 'service', adjust brakes and oil gears so they change smoothly as they have been stuck in the same position for a good number of years as the bike hasn't been ridden.

I think the only way you can get an answer is to ask a shop, otherwise it is just guessing. Is it really too difficult to do yourself, use WD 40 to free things up, maybe take apart and put back together.

And just taken it for a short ride and the left side crank comes loose to the point I had to hand tighten the nut. Tried with a box spanner now but it still comes loose after a short ride so I definitely need a repair shop.
