Where can I find a washingmachine that is smaller than the standard 60 cm? It must be able to heat the water too.

I think the only washing machines that you can buy in Thailand that heat water are the front-loading automatics, and they're quite large and expensive. Have a look on Lazada for some idea what's available here.

When I came to Asia I was surprised that there was not a hot/warm/cold option on the machines, but it seems to make no difference, they wash just as well.

Generally the smaller machines are a disaster waiting to happen. Everything is built down to the size including bearings & pumps and the result is a very short lifetime in general use.

I assume your requirement is to suit an existing space in an Apartment/condo

What space do you have available?
