Paying Water Bill
I have to pay my water bill however it seems I have missed the date to pay at 7/11 and they say I must go to Pranburi to pay, the bill is not due until 27/01.
Is this correct or is there a water office in HH? also does anyone know where in Pranburi, all that FKN way to pay 200Baht

The one in HH that I use is down the road from the Tessabahn, near the park (Petch Pone ?) and opposite the fire station.

Hi Pagey, Thanks for the quick response unfortunately I have no idea where you mean. The only fire stations I know are opposite the railway station and at the palace

Yes, near the railway station. The water place is opposite the fire station.

If you go up the road towards the railway station from the traffic lights, the road into it is the second one on the left past the park. It is one way and the office is down the back, not on the road frontage.

Re: Paying Water Bill
Thanks guys for the advice. I went this morning however they would not process the payment. I am on Pranburi water and this office is only for Hua Hin/Koa Takiab water. Lucky there is a do all service shop near me who does fax, copy, bookings etc, it turned out they also do lots of bill payments at Pranburi so they will pay for me at a cost of 50Baht.
Thanks anyway.

Re: Paying Water Bill
Hi Steve, I'm having the same issue as I have also missed the date for paying and need to drive up to Pranburi which is a ball ache. Where were you able to pay in HH and do you know if you can build up credit? We are not always here to pay the bill. Thanks Alex
Re: Paying Water Bill
I'm on HH water but being a lazy forgetful swine I've often only been pushed to make the effort when they wrap a piece of wire round my meter. This time, I asked if I can't put a couple of thousand over the counter so I don't have to worry for a while. "Of course" I was told so by all accounts there's enough in credit to cover the bills for the next year or so.
Re: Paying Water Bill
I have friends on Pranburi Water, and they have arranged for the bank to take the money every month. It did need a trip to Pranburi to set it up though. I also think they had to sort it with their bank beforehand.

Re: Paying Water Bill
Direct debits for water and electric bills can be setup quite easily with the banks here. You will need the Thai owner of the property to do it though.

Yes the best way is to do direct debit if you are not around. Seemingly they have no leniency for late payment and cut off almost immediately.

Re: Paying Water Bill
Thanks all, yes made the journey to Pranburi today to pay my 41baht bill and got the forms to set up the direct debit. Need to go back once I get the banks stamp but hopefully after this it will be resolved.
Re: Paying Water Bill
My bank and the electricity company decided to cease offering direct debit facility earlier this year and cancelled existing arrangement but didn't bother to inform me. I had paid a shedload of cash into a dedicated DD electricity passbook account and promptly forgot about it, never thinking to check that money was actually going out of the account, and only knew that I had not paid for several months when my electricity was about to be cut off.
So it's worth keeping an eye on utility accounts, and don't just assume direct debits are running smoothly.

Re: Paying Water Bill
Bit of a shambles down at pranburi water. Size of office to pay bill indicates it was meant for 20-30 years ago. Forgot to pay online so had to come here. I have number 141, and they we're on 75 when I got here. Only 3 people taking payments ....

We’re very fortunate where we live, the man delivers the bill and collects the money at the same time so no queuing anywhere!!
