Sports / Gym equipment stores in Hua Hin

Post by l112a6 »

Anyone know of any Sports / Gym equipment stores around Hua Hin?

I am aware of the Sports World store basement floor Market Village and Tesco.

Looking for other options too if there are any?

Thanks!

They often have sports equipment outside in the Makro car park.

In Pranburi, as you turn left at the second traffic lights towards Tesco there is a shop selling gym equipment.

I know this won't help  but I've seen somewhere else quite recently in Hua Hin, but can't remember where at the moment.

There may also be a shop if you go over the crazy railway crossing/roundabout on the road to Hin Lek Fai. I'm fairly sure there's a shop on the left.

There's one on the corner of Petchkasem Road and Soi 64/1 (that leads up to the naughty massage places).
I went in there a year or so ago and they seemed to have a fairly decent range of stuff but maybe on the pricey side? I'm no expert.

There's a shop called Marathon, just past Moowanna (crap spelling - the pork shop on the corner of Soi 68).

Checked out Marathon.

-The only good dumbbells they had were the SAME as Sports World in MV, but in Marathon they were TWICE the price.
-No sports equipment / accessories
-No boxing equipment

-Good selection of treadmills and bikes, but likely very expensive.

-The shop assistant was friendly but wasn't helpful and speaks no English. None of the equipment had a price and he didn't know either.

They sell boxing equipment at the Muay Thai boxing gym/stadium at Grand Market. I bought gloves, leg pads and arm pads for a mate about 5 years ago.
