Barometer check-up/repair

Post by Chazz14 »

This is probably a non-starter, but.... does anyone know a shop that sells barometers?

Bought it with me from UK - appears to have survived the journey, but needs re-calibrating.

I'd be happy to throw a beer your way if you can sort this one!

You could try taking it to the weather station on Petchkasem Road. They are not difficult to adjust, but you need an accurate current pressure reading to do it. Probably better if you take a Thai speaker with you if you are not fluent yourself.
Other than that there may be an avionics engineer at the airport that could do it. The flying school has a repair section, just ask at the second gate where the old Cessna is on display.
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!
