Comes free with Swensons ice cream cakes when taken away.
I know this is probably not the most practical way to get dry ice

Does anyone know where I can buy dry ice - preferably in Pranburi or otherwise in Hua Hin?

Thanks for the suggestion Terry - just called them and they order theirs from Samut Sakhon - so not much chance of getting any today from there :banghead:

Thanks a lot for that - but I don't think it's going to be feasible for this afternoon!!

I wouldn't take too much notice of that twit: the first thing he writes is that dry ice is frozen carbon MONoxide! :tsk:

Can't say I even read it - was only meant tongue in cheek. Wouldn't really say it's the safest stuff to p*ss around with either....

For future reference it might be worth checking with the following:

http://www.freezco.com/

http://www.thaidryice.com/

I think the first site is at Samut Prakan. If you only wanted a small amount the shops that sell ice cream cakes should have it.

Just as a point of interest they list a dry ice blasting machine, which is a very good way of cleaning all sorts of things without damaging the base item.

Well, after long research i have finaly found the contact of a company which delivers dry ice at market village 3 time a week in front of the swensen ice cream shop. The number to order is : 084 752 6697

You need to order 24H in advance even for small quantity (i usually order 1kilo) and i think you need a thai speaker to make the call (my wife called so i don't know if they speak english).

Price is 30 bath for 1 kilo
