Recommend a good garage in Hua Hin?

For getting the car serviced and small repairs anyone have experience with a good garage to go to.
Maybe one where a tiny bit of car related english is understood.
Appreciate it.

I have yet to find one where normal English is spoken, let alone "car related English".

For body work and minor repairs there is a good place down the soi just after the Shell garage on Petchkasem Road.

One to avoid is the big place under the flyover on the road south, they'll redo your rego in Pranburi no probs but don't expect them to do a decent repair job.

Its like anything in Thailand, they'll do the least they possibly can to get you on the road again, only to have the problem happen again 2 weeks later.

Going out of town in north direction after Kings palace but beore airport look for garage on right hand side with volkswagon and vintage cars - mechanic is great. Drive carefully .........

Found it.
I drove away from another garage out on the road as he wanted 5,000 without even pushing the clutch or looking under the bonnet to check for leaks and it would take a day. The clutch didn't need changing so that wouldn't have fixed the real problem. The other guy just changed the worn seal in the slave cylinder and changed a hose out of it also. They supposedly wear after 5 or 6 years.
Working normal now again 1200 baht picked up after 2 hours ..
Friendly guy in a yard 150m down soi 62 after Shell.

By the way, the air con in the car stopped working a few days after that.
Scared me because another man told me he spent 30 or 40k to get his aircon in car fixed. His year model was known to have weak compressor.
A Mitsu Lancer i think.

I checked myself the fuses and in the black fuse box beside battery one fuse had only one side pluged in and had being sparking and melted its green plastic off. replaced it with one of the spares beside steering wheel and works normal since.

Yes there you go any body can be a mechanic ,just a mater of staring at the most logical place ,,something electrical doesn't work, start at the most obvious place THE FUSE BOX and go onwards from there
this sounds like a Q for a new thread if i ever seen one
