I have always tagged it as a sewage smell. It has become a habit when using the back entrance (most of the time) to close the car windows between booths and the air con on recirc. Have not noticed it recently but with the wifes ultra sensitive nose I am not going to open the window and suffer her comments for the next hour. I always use the back exit so avoid both the traffic on Petchkasem and running the gauntlet of smellsville again. Been there for as long as MK has.

LMFAO - brilliant catch Dannie Boy!

I’m pretty sure it’s the grease traps. The smell of those babies are beyond ridiculous. Once worked in a hotel where the pipe of the grease trap broke and I’m not kidding you we couldn’t use the area for two weeks. Never will forget that god awful smell....

To be honest, I've never noticed any smell there, but leaving the place earlier, I did open the window heading up to the exit on Petch road and there was definitely a pong. But to me, it seemed just a typical Thailand smell that you catch a whiff of in any town or City in this blighted Kingdom. It's a smelly place!

Well spotted Dannie Boy. Not written on purpose although a subtle link I would be proud of.

I came in to MV on bike from the back road yesterday, and as I was passing the both where they hand out parking cards for card the smell was intense. Smelt like sewage!

What time was that huahin4ever? As I said, I went through at 11:13, and smelt nothing.

 Or maybe it has been Mrs (SBD) BB all the time :run:

I went through around 11:30-12'ish if I remember correctly. But the smell was only present for a short stretch from just after the car card booth to approx. where the cars exit the car park.

Or maybe I've reached that age where my sense of smell has expired.

Better to have the sense of bad smells expired than to be a BIg Boy with a small brain.

I agree actually. Not long after I started the thread, the smell went, and hasn't returned for a while.
