Hua Hin Garrison

Post by MajorBloodnok »

Hello,

does anyone know what kind of troops are part of the local garrison.

I have read somewhere that a unit of the Thai Airborne is stationed here.
I believe driving by some place I saw a sign that looked lie an airborne badge.

Thanks!

Warm regards,

It's actually the Border Patrol Police Aerial Reinforcement Unit, (PARU) which is part of the police rather than the army:

Good afternoon Steve, :)

thanks for the information and the link. :D

Some time ago I enquired about the rank insignia of the Immigration Service.
I believe they are part of the Royal Thai Police, but their rank distinctions
seem to be different from those of the Police(?) (if I am not mistaken). :?

Have a nice day!
