Back in January we visited Wat Khao Noi, which at that time was very much work in progress.
I'm sure many of you, like us, have seen the huge Buddha figure at Wat Khao Noi overlooking the Klong Road and Royal Palace as you have travelled that way.
We decided it was time to go back and have another look.
Initially we stopped the car at the bottom of the Khao, and approached the image from the large staircase, which still has to receive a few finishing touches.
Unfortunately, not everybody in our party could do stairs, so we then descended, and drove the car to the top. The views from the top of Khao Noi are quite stunning, and as far as we know it is the only natural viewpoint in Hua Hin to offer a full 360 degree panoramic view of the city. It is a shame the weather wasn't better, but views were still better than January's haze/smog.
Although the huge Buddha figure was looking good, there was still work continuing to complete the project.
A very nice place to take visitors interested in seeing the city from high.
