I thought it was about time that I started including some Hua Hin specific photos.

Looking North from the Temples, you can see many piers where they serve food in very romantic settings before you get to the fishing pier.

Is DSC02332 showing those rocks by the Hilton that everyone seems to get cut up by....or is it worse further down?

Yes, it's all around that headland - I wasn't going to mention that because it's a very popular spot :?. But now that you mention it .......................

Actually the photos are a public service. So many years of people talking about the hazards and these are the first photos per my memory. Seems like low tide but I can imagine that at high tide they would all be hidden except for the largest.

Wat Etisukatow

Just off the Pala-U Road on the way to the Elephant Village. I'd heard about this very colourful temple, and thought I'd go for a look. It is still significantly work in progress in terms of building, but very much worth a visit.

Great picture Big Boy! Another place I have not seen until now.
I have spent many an afternoon with a beverage, at the small seating area behind the temple
where your got your picture of the Hilton area beach. Great place to escape the sun and cool
down with a beer etc.

I took a wander around the Birthday Lights yesterday evening. I must say that I was very disappointed that many of the 'special displays' had been turned off already.

NB my litle point and shoot is not the best for night shots

Need some motivation to photograph the beach, piers or harbors? June 17-19 has some of the lowest tides of the year.

I don't suppose it was something like Razor Clams was it - normally bury themselves just below the surface close to the water....

Cracking photo GN - used to see some spectacular electrical storms when working in SA.
