Hello, i'm thinking to move in Hua Hin soi 102. Can someone tell me if this soi is quite good to live? And is this soi ok to set up a business like a restaurant? Are there many expats in that area? Any suggestion and comment will be very appreciated.

Yes it 100% Ok to set up a business on Soi 102 or any other Soi as long as you understand that it will be very disapointing, give you lots of stress and eat up all your savings.

There are a scattering of expats living around the Soi 102 area, but there are also already a number of restaurants there (that never seem to be overly busy), so unless you can bring something quite unique to the table (pun intended), you will struggle to make a living.

I just moved from Sombattaweephoon (sorry if I spelt it wrong) Village on soi 102 and it is very nice as long as you have a motorbike or a car. I know the owners of Curry Lao and they just shut down and I believe have either sold the place or moved on. If you are looking to open a business its ok but there are sometimes problems at night from some of the drunks that stumble by. For the most part a pretty good place though.
