Who exactly is the target audience for this publication. Its in English but its expat audience must be somewhat linited. If you are searching for the best 1800baht Chanpagne brunch it could be useful, otherwise not much help.

Re: HUA HIN TODAY
Often wondered this myself..the whole mid-section is devoted to anything connected to the high-class major hotels we have in town..c/w their individual adverts somewhere in the publication..
'Come to our fantastic, exclusive, never-to-be repeated, Breakfast Buffet..our world-class finest chefs have
specially prepared this mouth-watering feast of Asian favourites for you to enjoy..yes, authentic cuisine, brought to your reserved table. Our International Fare includes freshly-boiled Black-Pudding, served with a salt and vinegar dressing, on a bed of Mushy peas.'
O.K. enuf pi**-taking..it would seem that the paper is targeted at our higher-class guests who are staying in town.

You'd think the mushy peas would at least be pureed and done in a pretty swirl wouldn't you US?
As for the paper - dare I say you only need to look at the founder for the answer. There - I've said it anyway. Hush my mouth!

Re: HUA HIN TODAY
I recently read an old copy, I think it was Sept 2012 when I was sitting at an airport. One article was all about who the expat community in Hua Hin were. It stated they were predominantly from Sweden, Norway and Finland, I could be wrong about Finland but I am sure it was Scandinavian.
I could agree that Swedes and Norwegians make up a good proportion, but Fins never, what about Germans, Swiss, Belgians. And if I am not mistaken there may be a Brit or two floating around.
The article went on to state that further attractions must be developed for the three nationalities mentioned.

This month's edition is slightly better than in the past there was even mention of forthcoming events ratherjust than events that have already happened. The editorial was certainly a lot better and actually made sense as it is now being written by someone else.

Yes, the personnel has changed and there is actually some editing and proofreading being done now.
I was talking to one of the new staff today and there are plans to make it more relevant and interesting.

Yes I've met the occasional Brit here also. Despicable lot if you ask me. Re: HUA HIN TODAY
I remember the article I read it must have been half a page in total and was just one long sentence, no comma's, full stops or punctuation at all, no paragraphs even.
The editorial was the farewell piece from the editor of that time, no doubt Scandinavian, bless them; again just one huge sentence with no structure to it, just a big long ramble. Something similar to the things I say at times, but then again that is usually after a few cold ones.
