me, also

Just welcoming myself also. I am also looking for a new place to hang, Have not seen everything in Pattaya or Bangkok, but seen enough. The wife and I are spending more time on the rice patty and starting to like it more and more. Went to Patong Beach in March, had a good time, learning a new place is sometimes a good thing.

I work in Kuwait and am getting close to leaving and looking for a good investment. Will keep an eye on Hua Hin.

Any bias oppinions on the economy would help.

Nice forum, I will keep posting

HI

Post by todd64 »

I am always glad to talk to new people, my wife and I are looking forward to visiting Hua Hin. Like I said before, We are not really into the Pattaya nightlife anymore. We go and visit friends, but not to stay more than a couple of days. Same for Bangkok. If you could, tell me about the economy, is Hua Hin very busy or like Pattaya and Bangkok having the low and high season.

Thanks,
Todd

Hua Hin is very seasonal and not as busy as Bangkok or Pattaya, that in some ways is the attraction. This year has been the quietest low season I have ever seen due to war/SARS etc. Its starting to get better now and will get busier into October as a run up for the high season. It should then slow down after Songkran in April.

not sure

We are thinking about dec, but still not sure.

Thanks for the econ update, Lev. About the same as the rest of Thailand.
Except for Nongrajao, I like that place, if you want to find it look to the west of Nakornsawan to Cheumsang and somewhere on the road to Nong Bua take a left.
