Popped in for some milk a couple of days ago, 5 Baht cheaper than the other stores, ending up with the wife spending 500 Baht!
Prices all around seem to have come down since the store first opened and there were many bargains in most sections.
Work on preparations for the constuctions of the outlets seems very slow - There was a sign up before saying that the Best Pub, with live music,' would be opening later in the year at outlet 3 but no indication of what else will be there.

Good God more noise coming from live music? - it was the extra loud store speaker system which never seemed to stop that put me off at my first vist, on their second day of opening - I have not returned since despite living close !

Actually I'm more interested in the idea of a live music pub than I am in a supermarket, I might even start going shopping!

I thought that best Pub place was a kayote joint. I looked it up when the posters started appearing, and that was the conclusion I came to. Has anybody been? Maybe any review should be in a thread of its own.

I don't know if it's still there but there used be a quite pleasant music bar in the shopping mall in Korat with an inoffensive live band and food. It was the sort of place that you could take the family and I thought it was a nice concept and you would get me in Market Village a bit more often if they had one there.

I was in Hua Hin Big C a couple of weeks ago and there was no loud music of any description.
