My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

That is really some sad, sad reading and video. :( It now puts faces on people only known as posters and victims to many of us. My prayers are with Paul and his family, and I hope Drummond has done some good in lighting a fire under someone in authority down there. Pete

Scary article maybe the town should be renamed 'Hua Hell'?

Interesting that 90% of the attacks are property related and the other 10% are crazy Thai woman related. Avoid dealings with those two and you should be safe here.

This case has now hit the other forum as well. The publicity for HH isn't looking good - but most importantly the situation with Paul isn't improving either. We can only continue to wish Paul and his wife well - and I understand that their home in HH needs to be sold for them to return to the UK. All I can say to Pauls wife right now is quite honestly sod the costs - try whatever means possible to get Paul home. Throw yourselves at the mercy of Pauls' old employers in the UK - his Union - friends - pension funds - anything you can think of to get him back.
That image on the other site of Paul lying in hospital in Huahin in a coma is heart rending. I wonder if Embassy staff see these things and how they feel about it.

Sure makes it scary to have contracting work done for you. My hopes are that the family makes it back home safe, and Paul recovers. Thanks to the family for sharing, their story needs to be told.

To answer a few questions The British Embassy have been informed of Pauls progress from day one . Once moved to Bangkok hospital they even went to visit Paul in ICU Unit. There hands a tied where the police are concerned, there is only so much they can do. We Pauls mother & father,& Justine had a meeting with a Lieutenent Colonel in Bangkok few weeks ago. The meeting seemed to go very well & thought he would be getting the police here in HH to at last do something. We are so gratefull to Andrew Drummond for following up on the story, we are hoping some thing will come of it.We were hoping it would make the English news papers but think so far thats not the case .But hey who knows it could still get there. Although Paul is my son & would like him to stay here in HH till he wakes, i think in time he should go back to the UK, The hospitals here have been so good ,we couldnt ask for better treatment. Life back in the UK will totally different for Paul Justine & Scott . They gave up every thing to come here. Paul worked for himself for many years, that will not be the case now when they go back. Who said scary scary ,yes it is very scary at the moment .

The video seems to have disappeared from the article. I tried to play it twice and only got through half of it twice it stopped, (an error has occurred) appeared. Then went back to website and don't see it at all. Anyone else?

It has been embedded on this thread for you by buksida, a couple of posts above this one. I've tried it, and it works fine for me.
