I also like the text in the sign in front of the house: Ban Sudyod i.e. Top house.

My wife showed me numerous photos of flooding in Cha Am yesterday, so yes is the answer, but this is normally a 1 or 2 times event in a year that lasts a few days only.

There is a photo in the Bangkok Post of a house in Hua Hin showing the flood up around the peoples waist:

As I said in my second video, we saw a few like that out near the new Immigration at about 2:50pm yesterday. Unfortunately, I had inserted my SD card incorrectly yesterday, so the moment was lost.

Here's a photo of a bar in Takiab that I captured from social media for a friend yesterday:

LOL, wear your wellies.

Actually, I was down that way, and it's so sad to see the drying out operation taking place in so many homes and businesses.

TK's has apparently drained away so the pool match is on.

I had occasion to go to Cha-am today and was surprised to find the road is still badly flooded in parts, some covering all 3 lanes!

The bit beyond TKs was also flooded, with the road closed. Establishments like The Room were still cut off.

Hmm, weird weather. Some nasty looking stuff out to the east around the Airport, and it is now raining where I am in Bangkok. :?

Even that was a surprise. I thought I was about to have a cataract operation, but I can still read to the bottom of the chart with both eyes :D

Nothing on the Rayong south coast yet but they state a 70% chance for 5mm or more over the next two days. Each year we get something in mid December as we always lose many of the flowers on the mango trees at this time because of it. :( Pete
