Absolutely everything if your power goes out after a drop of rain.

Warning of summer storms during April 15-18
The Thai Meteorological Department warned people in most parts of the country except the southern and eastern regions to brace for another round of summer storms during April 15-18.

In an announcement issued Wednesday (April 11) , the Weatherman said that the Northeast and the East would be hit by thunderstorm, strong wind and lightning with hail storm in certain parts on April 15 followed by the northern and central regions, including Bangkok, which would face the turbulent weather on the following day.

The freak storms were attributable to the cold front from China which will blanket upper part of Thailand and the South China Sea as Thailand is experiencing hot weather.

Northeastern provinces to face summer storms include Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, Surin and Buri Ram.

In the East, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi and Trat will be hit by the freak storms.

Big storm in Bangkok. Raining on and off most of the morning.

Bangkok, provinces battered by storms

Post-Songkran storms have finally hit Bangkok, causing slight damage and flooding in some areas.

The situation was worse upcountry where strong winds and downpours continued to inflict havoc on local residents.
The latest warning issued by the Meteorological Department on Tuesday said rain and wind will persist in the capital and some other 30 provinces - mainly in the northern, northeastern and eastern regions - at least until Wednesday.
More than half of Bangkok should brace for more rain, it added.

Traffic police reported the collapse of four electricity poles in Lat Krabang district in Bangkok due to gusty winds on Tuesday morning.

City Hall reported rain in some central and the northern and eastern parts of the capital. Min Buri suffered most, with 44.5 millimetres of rain, it added.

Flooding was reported on the outskirts of Bangkok including Khlong Luang district in Pathum Thani and Bang Bua Thong district in Nonthburi.

Well the rain has reached Cha Am, really heavy rain and equally strong winds, the combination of which has the garden and surrounding area with lots of surface water collecting on the ground.

Well, for me it makes a nice refreshing change after the last few humid days. A nice clean breeze blowing and a comfortable temperature. Even the stinking haze has gone! :thumb:

A pretty big one off Soi 94 too. 3 terrified dogs at Baan Big Boy. Rain drops so big, I was convinced they had to be hailstones.

And here in 112 not enough rain to wet the drive. Amazing how localised these storms can be.
