And yesterdays offering from Chratchai Parasuk is quite sobering reading as well. Interesting factual data about reduced tourist spending, despite the numbers now visiting.

Re: Football (not Premier League)
I dont understand it all.
Quality based on what criteria? Who is the arbiter?
If it was based on violent fans over the years, then based on personal experience as well as recorded incidents, I would have Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff, Leeds and Bristol City, as the worst of the worst!

Re: Premier League 2023-24
What people forget is that Everton got hit so hard becasuse they didn't co-operate. Forest did, and with or without an appeal, both received a reduced sentence based on other factors. Forest have yet to decide whether to appeal. They haven't got long. Man City are strongly denying all of the allegat...

Re: Which Hua Hin Area Attraction Is Your Number 1
The vineyard was always a regular place for me to take visitors, but I stopped when they announced a parking fee. I know you can get it back when you purchase food, but I can't always manage that much food. Its not really a parking fee, because as you say, the cost is deducted from the price of the...

Re: Which Hua Hin Area Attraction Is Your Number 1
I dont have so many visitors that a No.1 can be determined. As Steve said, a trip down the coast is always popular, on one occasion, as far as to the temple at Ban Krut. I always suggest PKK area as it is so lovely, but generally it is to the Sam Roi Yot area and beach, lunch somewhere, then a drive...

Re: Thailand News Summary
Theres mention of a video of the incident, which according to a poster on the BP, paints a different picture. With the gun seemingly going off in the policemans hands all alone, and then the claim, they basically disarmed him, removed the ammunition from the gun and then waited for the police to arr...

Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
Was it bad, I am in Bkk and left some plants out that really should be under cover if it was. I could ask someone to check for me, if yes. Thanks

Re: The Beer Thread 2
Is it actually open yet? Or is this just pre-opening spiel? Last time I looked in Bluport, it didn't even look like any work had been done. They are in Bkk as well. Anywhere selling a better selection of ales has to be welcomed. It's just keeping up with a new trend in Bkk malls of craft beers being...

Re: Campers, Camping and/or a Van?
Some of the high end Malls in Bangkok now have camping shops. There are two in the newly opened Emsphere. I was looking at them earlier. I wouldnt bother if you're on a budget! There used to be one in Bluport as well.

Re: Mustard
Australias Masterfoods Hot English mustard is now my go to choice. We had this conversation before, but Colmans from a jar here, just doesn't seem as hot as I remember it from the UK. Maybe because I eat so much hot, spicy food here, that it's taste is diminished. But when a kid, mustards in a jar d...

Re: Thai law prohibits foreigners from driving passengers.
The good bit is it seems to be restricted to the Phuket/Surat Thani areas at the moment That's because they set up a special task force in those areas to deal with the problem. The locals have been hopping mad about this for some time, claming foreigners working is affecting their own work/inccome....
