Re: Football (not Premier League)
LOL, not so much fun when your team is involved in the mess at the wrong end of the table  As for not so many overpaid prima donnas, have you checked the Leicester City wage bill? Something like 35 x greater than lowly Plymouth. Mind you, I just wish Plymouth had a sugar daddy to pay the craz...

Re: How can Thailand curb its appalling road fatality rate?
Yes, after the Hua Hin bombings, they went overboard with cameras here, but it would be interesting to know how many times they've been monitored and used in anger as a result. Usually a crime is committed before anybody checks the footage.

Re: Looking For New Tablet
I’ll be interested to follow if the new Uk account or region settings result in the applications your looking for becoming available so you can download / install. Yes, as soon as I switched to the account my niece created for me, and switched to UK on my VPN, I immediately found and downloaded iPl...

I'd never heard of the "608 Group" before, and had to look it up.
“608” group — those 60 years old and above, and those with eight underlying health conditions

Re: Looking For New Tablet
All sorted, thank you. I had my niece in the UK create a fake UK account for me, and yes, ITVX is giving the illusion of working as well

42C in Ratchaburi yesterday. It was quite windy, but the wind just forced the heat onto us.

I think somebody has taken the batteries out of our dogs. They will need to be re-booted some time in August

Re: Doctors warn of hot summer heatstrokes
I must say, the heat is getting to me more this year than I can remember in previous years. I'm not sure if its old age, it actually is hotter, or I'm believing the media hype. Whatever, its bloody hot.

Re: Football (not Premier League)
They stole him from Plymouth mid way through the season, but he never performed as well as he had been at Plymouth. A defeat against Plymouth would have been the final nail. Stoke are not known for their patience with underperforming managers.

Re: Football (not Premier League)
I was devastated when I saw the result in my hotel room. It was one I really wanted to see 3 points from. It had been suggested Schumacher would have been sacked if Plymouth had won.

Re: Thai Football 2023/24
Yes, Ratchaburi were without their suspended centre-forward, and Buriram soon put 2 more of their forwards into hospital, literally. They tried to get a 3rd, but failed - I hope Ratchaburi were insured :D . Fairplay, Ratchaburi got their own back, and things were pretty even on the violence front by...
