Re: Clean Hua Hin's Beaches Movement

Should not be Clean the beach, it should be clean Hua Hin, ban plastic bags and start fining people who drop litter and dump. Every where one looks you see plastic bags, tins, rubbish all over the place

Re: Bangkok to Cardiff UK

Thanks for the info guys, I have not been to the UK for years so my knowledge is as limited as a full on tourist and I have no idea of road, rail or bus route. Your posts will give me something to dig into tonight to find the best option.

Bangkok to Cardiff UK

I have to get to Cardiff UK pretty urgently and have been looking for flights, there are no direct flights as Cardiff is not a major destination.

Re: As dams empty, Thailand is facing a severe water crisis

One only has to look at private dams on owner land, most are empty or very near empty, Mongkol Temple is about 2m down from where it was last year. Now is the time to implement water controls not necessarily rationing but just making sure there is limited waste.

Re: Booze banned during Loy Krathong festival

We don't often go out on big occasions, as my wife says Thai people are lovely peaceful people until Thai whiskey take hold of them, then the devil comes out to play.
