Custom Made Parrot Cage

Has anyone had strong custom welded parrot type cages made in Hua Hin that could recommend for me a shop. I know of a good place in Bangkok but would like to give the work to locals if possible.

Thanks

Re: Club Moto Kawasaki big bike shop

I'm waiting for them to bring back the Z900 for test ride. I like the Ninja 650 KRT but I would kick myself for committing to it without riding the Z900 first. Shame that the pillion seat cowl doesn't come with the KRT it is a separate accessory. The Akaprovic exhast is also expensive @ 37000 Baht.

Re: Thai electric car

The dream of EV will not come easy to countries like Thailand where few parking spaces near a residence exist and no street based power outlets are available. The cable thieves will have a hay day. You can just imagine how Thais would try to steal the power from their neighbors by unplugging them an...

Washer Dryer Combos

I am considering purchasing a front load washer dryer combo. I used one in Korea a few years ago and really liked it they are very convenient for rainy days (like today). However online reviews are overall quite negative. Any owner that can give me their first hand experience/opinion.

Is it worth going to Dang Singkon market?

I know this has been asked before however things change fast in Thailand.

Has anyone gone recently? Is it worth the drive from Hua Hin? Is it all Chinese junk or are there interesting items from Myanmar for sale?

Croaking Wood Frogs

Does anyone know where I could buy some souvenir croaking frogs made from wood in HH? The ones with the baton that you remove from their side and stroke the back to make a croaking sound.

Re: Do you need an onward ticket for entry into Thailand?

Working overseas I have had the same problem when I was using my return ticket to Bangkok. The easiest way to get around it is to book a refundable ticket leaving Thailand (Air Asia to KL for example). Once you arrive you cancel the ticket online.

Re: Solid wood floor vs Engineered wood floor

Pick the flooring that will resist the eventuality of termites. If you haven't noticed there are many termite control trucks driving around the city. Tile or granite is the only thing I would ever put on my floors.

Re: Pizza in Hua Hin

I watched a Mark Weins vlog on YouTube a few days ago, he and Ying were in Newyork. The vlog was titled "The best pizza in Newyork ". The pizza cost $32 and Mark said it was great. My opinion, $32 for bread and cheese, bonkers. Totally bonkers. I've enjoyed a few pizzas in huahin, mostly ...

Re: Advice please, villa purchase - freehold or 30 year lease?

I agree with many posters rent first. One of the hazards of buying in developments or condos is the neighbors. I have lived in a couple of developments (especially with a high Thai owner ratio) where your house becomes almost worthless. The developments starts off nice however many people stop carin...

Walker with Seat and mobility scooter

I'm thinking of getting a walker with wheels and a seat for my mother-in-law (for indoors) and a mobility scooter that can handle uneven surfaces like a dirt road.

Can these be purchased in Hua Hin?

Re: Why do some farang not wear motorcycle helmets?

According to official statistics, 14,059 people were killed on Thai roads and highways in 2012, translating to a road-death rate of 36.2 people per 100,000, a rate only surpassed by war-torn Libya, where 73.4 people per 100,000 died that same year, according to the WHO's 2015 Global Status Report o...
