Re: The bikers thread; trips, news, chat, all things motorcycle

Ah, thats good to know. I was deciding if I wanted a custom seat or just a recovering. Will consider the custom more seriously. Cheers StevePIraq.

Hi all, would anyone know where I can get a motorcycle seat recovered in Hua Hin? Cheers.

Re: The bikers thread; trips, news, chat, all things motorcycle

Thanks HHCanuk, I know the place. I stopped there once to look at the CB650F they had for sale. Will take to lady to help translate and see what they say. :) I wouldn't mind a nice Ducati but can't really spend that much so going down the used bike route. Will stop and see them too as they might hav...

Re: The bikers thread; trips, news, chat, all things motorcy

Does anyone know of a decent bike shop in or near HH that could cope with a Suzuki 1200 service and repairs? Before considering the purchase I would like to know it won't be a struggle down here.

Re: Where to buy Honda CB650F

Not yet. I was looking at the HondaBigWing shop in Bangkok too but wondered if anyone had gone up and bought one. Servicing is an issue but as I have family in Bangkok, a quick blast up there would be okay. Looked at Ducati today and whilst there were a couple of nice bikes there, they were somewhat...

Re: Where to buy Honda CB650F

I am wondering if anyone decided on the CB650F and took the plunge. I am a fan of the Hornet and although I know the CB650F is not the replacement I am hoping its a decent compromise for the occasional ride. Has anyone bought one here in HH and if so, where did you buy it from? Good service etc? and...

Re: TRUE Internet

Whilst sharing your frustration with the 3BB Internet speed/reliability, I have always found their customer service to be fairly good and they have come out normally same day or next - we are served from the Cha Am office, so maybe that makes a difference? I think it might - we also have had very g...

Re: TRUE Internet

A few weeks back, I had a series of internet outages with 3BB and after hearing the good reviews about True internet, had them install their 50mbps service into the house. I didn't cancel the 3BB contract straight away but rather just disconnected the router so there wouldn't be any interference wit...

Re: 3BB Internet Speed

3bb was out completely for me out Soi 102 way from Friday until Tuesday. I've ended up buying a sim for the iPad from True in order to get emails out. When calling 3bb I was told an engineer would be calling shortly. Never did! When the connection came back on late Tuesday, the speed has been terrib...

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall in the pipelines

As pointed out in the OP nearly 2 years ago - can't wait to see the traffic jams. What's been done in the last 2 years by way of serious road planning? Ha ha ha, 'road planning'??!! Surely there is no such thing here? Having said that, Phetkasem road now has no white lines after the new 'quality' f...

Re: Auto insurance in Thailand ... a waste of time

Insurance here is a pot luck! I recently had a uninsured blow on a crapped out moped drive into the side of my car as he was cutting a corner. By the time he hit me I was stopped and not even at the junction fully. Of course as is the practice here, I called my insurance who promptly (About an hour)...
