Re: When was your first visit to Hua Hin?

Jan. 2014, moved here, from Bangkok, in Mar. 2014. Arrived in Bangkok, in Aug. 2014. That plus the 24 hr. a day noise, traffic, people, and f...

Dr Supakit said that personal protection was still necessary, especially when in crowded areas. He referred to the use of face masks and booster shots of vaccine to stimulate antibody production. How many more than 6 shots do you need? I hope the pill proves to be effective and it's distributed worl...

Re: (Don't) Wear a Mask Debate

I’m in the UK at the moment where the incidence of catching Covid is increasing quickly (up half a million in a week) - it’ll be interesting to see whether people go back to wearing masks again or carry on as normal? Here’s an article from the BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-61995463 In the a...

Yes, this is the inconsistency of Hua Hin Immigration. I was actually blocked from moving upstairs until I produced the evidence. However, as I've mentioned, it depends who you speak to on the day, and the staff seem to have changed recently, except for handdrummer who has kept his I/O locked in a ...

The agent route negates the need for a witness, worth a few baht to eliminate a lot of the hassles and unknowns too. I never like to pay someone to do something that I can do myself. At the moment, I have more time than money. There haven't been any unknowns. I follow the rules and my visa is renew...
