They don't have a clue!

Really not worth commenting on. File it as non-urgent.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

But I gather its not the rule here and that's my point. And one of my points was highlighting why we need to have rules, be they good or bad. People should have the ability to think for themselves. There is massive amounts of information about what people should do and shouldn't do. I'll follow the...

Re: Coronavirus Precautions/News/Updates for Hua Hin/Prachuap

They really don't get it do they? I'm reluctant to 'knock' Thais as the majority are very good people. However, those in authority never stop displaying their ignorance. They believe that washing your hands with alcohol gel is a must when it's undisputed that soap and water is better than gel anytim...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

Colonel, have you not kept up with the 'bubble' idea which has worked so well elsewhere. We don't wear a mask at home. My whole family is in a 'bubble'. No-one visits and we visit no-one outside of our bubble. It has worked extremely well in other countries. You can operate a bubble without being to...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

It must be a Thai thing.
In the UK Covid counties were given 'Tier' numbers - In Thailand, colours.
In the UK, banks have names - in Thailand the banks identify with colours.

Even days of the week have colours!

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) said the deceased included a 32-year-old woman in Bangkok who was 25-weeks pregnant.
They don't say whether the unborn baby survived. At 25 weeks it has a very good chance of survival. But..... TIT.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

With almost 12,000 stores in Thailand (admittedly not all in red zones) that's going to affect a huge number of young girls that work there. At best they only pay minimum wage now they're only open for 9 hours out of 24.

I do like 'Bookworm' to relax and keep my brain working.

On the other hand I'm almost ashamed to admit playing 'pinball' on the big screen.

Re: Coronavirus Precautions/News/Updates for Hua Hin/Prachuap

Looking back, before this latest 'wave', our highest one day infection number was 188 at this time last year. That prompted Thailand to go into complete lockdown, almost everything shut, and curfews imposed. Here we are pushing 3,000 new cases and people can still travel (even encouraged to), restau...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

We've now exceeded the cases in the UK today. We all know how things went there. The difference being - they have a vaccine and we don't.

Yes, I took drops 'Tear Drops' off and on for quite a while because of 'dry eye'. I guess that's a normal consequence of the op.

I agree. I've never turned of my router in all the years I've had one.
