Re: Vaccines - Covid 19

When are they going to get the balls to admit publicly that Sinovac was an embarrassing mistake and cancel future orders of it and change the emphasis to more reliable vaccines. - Probably never - 'loss of face!' Talking of embarrassment, getting a contract to supply SE Asia with AZ hasn't worked ou...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

I notice that the 'stay at home' after 9pm originally stated as "not a curfew", over the last two days it is being referred to as a 'curfew'. Of course we all knew that.

Re: Buying online from Lazada

Nothing to do with Lazada. Just a quick response to the last post. I changed my razors quite a while ago and have stuck with "Shavy" with 6 blades. Not taken notice of the dates but seem to last forever. Always bought from Tesco. Comes in a pack of 2 and not at all expensive. Shavy.jpg

Re: Lotus's Cha-am Opening

Did they simply not consult an English speaker when rebranding? Got it in one! Certainly in the UK we tend to add an 's'. Tesco "I'm off to Tesco's". Woolworth "Off to Woolworth's". M & S "Off to Marks and Spencer's" and so on. I'm sure that's what they were trying...

Re: Buying online from Lazada

Not sure if this is relevant to delivery. I will always check out a seller's ratings which have to be in the high 90's in all 3 categories. I will check if they have a website/facebook so if necessary you can call direct instead of relying on 'Chat'. I will avoid products that state 'Coming from abr...

Re: Buying online from Lazada

That's a very good point. Much too easy. The Lex and Kerry drivers mostly know where we are but they'll still call and ask directions.

Re: Buying online from Lazada

In the years I've used Lazada, I've only ever had one of the three I've stated. Maybe extremely lucky then.

Re: Windows 11

I've not disabled updates. I'm quite happy with the warning and myself being in control on when to schedule the update or reject it altogether.

Re: Buying online from Lazada

The couriers are usually 1 of three: Lex, Kerry or by the seller.

I've not noticed a lot of difference between them.

Re: Windows 11

The Win10 update procedure is one annoyance that always occurs when you want to access the PC quickly and takes forever to complete. I always get a warning and an option to schedule a Win10 update. Unless you say 'Do it now' then it'll wait until at or after your scheduled request. In the meantime ...

Re: Documentaries

Not so much a documentary but a film made by the BBC in 1930 giving a profile of Siam. It covers the death of Rama VI and the coronation of Rama VII.

Interesting.
