In ChiangMai and Krabi , they are shutting guest houses with over 4 rooms that do not have hotel license, any that are reopening are being forced to change signs to "Monthly Only"
anyone know if this will be enforced in HH soon

Re: Thousands of Thai Dogs Perish Due to Rabies False Alarm
the cynic in me thinks that soi dog has misunderstood on purpose so it can use the story to raise funds for soi dog charity. Every day on facebook, those annoying adverts appear, soi dog asking for money, would be interesting to see a financial breakdown to see how what percentage of money actually ...

Drive past this place quite often. on the right hand gate post is a sign saying "Angels retreat" and house number 666. :-D :-D Guessing it's full of beautiful fallen angels.... It is the same place , it has probably changed owners and name, a quick google tends to suggest that it was a ho...

Re: Locations that serve a "good" Amercian / English breakfast.
all depends on what you pay and what you expect for your money, The large Irish Breakfast at El Murphys is fantastic , can fill a large appetite , I think it is 390 baht. Coffee Club does a breakfast for 399 baht and use chipolata sausages is seriously over priced for what you get. Anna Pie ship, do...

when you say nightclubs , do you mean the karaoke places near the Hilton, I think some of them may not open on a monday during low season, Getting a late drink is not hard in HH but you will find that most bars that do allow late drinks 230-4am , do so behind closed doors to people that live close by.

They are a nightmare, not just in Thailand but everywhere the buggers go, they do not comprehend queuing, they push past you and are generally rude. Yes all countries have 1-2 dickheads but they they seem to have 1.299999999 billion, Hua Hin should be reasonably safe as it is more expensive than mos...

Do the bars subscribe to ifollow? I thought I was the only one. Can you advise any bar that has it? I'd like to ask what technology they use to put it on the big screen. the i follow are specific to each team I doubt any bar subscribes to all and other than Leeds and Sunderland , not many teams wou...

dont do it,
am pretty sure you could rent your current property out in the UK
giving you a income , while retaining a asset that will increase in value,
never listen to business advice from Thai women even if they are honest they have no grip on reality.

Re: Very quiet in Hua Hin
I spend lots of my time on soi 94 but mainly down the quiet backend I find that the part of 94 stretching from the main road to Tikki bar and Bar lanta is always reasonably busy, with the restaurants jam packed at peak times but back end of 94 is very quiet other than Happy Pig, some of the bars on ...
