Re: Which Mobile Phone?
Even the latest iPhone 13 is made in China - I can’t see anybody dumping a new £1000 phone!! Come on. Apple or any other non-Chinese entity who may manufacture products there would be sure no nefarious electronics or spyware is present as it comes out the door. I have managed mobile phone ...

Re: The Thailand farming and cultivation thread
This sounds very interesting can you let us know the size of your plot please We're starting small so its just over a quarter rai. Near the beach so soil isn't great and will be bringing some in and making beds for each crop. The idea is to let some of the locals use and farm their own little patch...

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues
I am trying to book a hotel in Hua Hin for my better half when she returns in October.
Is there any news on which hotels have been allocated to the Recharge scheme as yet?
Can't find anything saying which ones.
Cheers.

Re: Getting a Green Card covid vaccine certificate
I wonder how we'll get on with UK documentation. After my jabs I was issued with a turquoise hand written (credit card sized) card. I can also access the NHS app which shows details of the jabs. You don't say. UK or Thailand? In any event how will we inform NHS UK database that we have been jabbed ...

"This sounds very interesting can you let us know the size of your plot please." If you want to grow food just yourself or family, you don't need much space, you can even do it in pots. For small spaces look up, French Intensive Gardening by John Jeavons. He tells you how to grow 3 times ...

Re: The Thailand farming and cultivation thread
Maybe a good time to revive this old thread now that food prices/shortages are becoming a concern. We have a few fruit trees in the garden but have decided to embark on a project to clear a spare plot of land we own to cultivate veggies and turn it into a small communal farm for some of the locals ...

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues
With the deaths and infection rate in Thailand steadily increasing, the few considering travelling to Thailand will no doubt review the wisdom - the UK currently has Thailand on its “Amber List” but that could easily move to Red at the next review due on Thursday Very true, if you look at Turkey fo...
