Bush fire near bypass road?

Anyone know about a reportedly large bush fire near by-pass? Our water delivery has been diverted to try and help fight it, so it looks like buckets from the swimming pool will be needed to flush the loo

Re: Where to buy a car battery charger?

Actually that was the one I meant, sorry for the confusion! I have a similar charger and it does my truck battery from flat to being able to start in 20 mins, is I don't think you would have needed the bigger ones.

Re: Vietnam - Hanoi & Halong Bay

As a Yorkshireman, I wonder if you could include costs for the trip, particularly the boat trip? Loving the TR, it makes me feel I have got a bit lazy just enjoying HH and not having to go to work every day.

Re: Where can I buy descaling tablets

Would sterident work for the kettle? I use in the toilet cistern to descale and seems to work well. I brought some descaling tabs from the UK from the washing machine, but as the water is not heated, I'm not sure if you need to use them?

The pre loaded FX card has been a life saver when Barclays have frozen my Acc and I needed to top up Skype to yell at them!

Re: Money transfers to Thailand.

I'm thinking of contacting my UK bank and increasing my daily limit from £300 to £1000 then drawing money out over the counter at my Thai bank and putting the cash in my Thai bank, all in one visit. I stand to be corrected but I think this will do away with ATM charges.

Yes just before Prechaub, there is an English speaking ' fixer' that will help you through the process. Takes about an hour if not too busy... Take a screwdriver to take off old plates and put on new.

Re: Green privacy and sunscreen fabric

What about those plastic roll out screens, about 4m wide used in many bars etc. have seen a crew patrolling the soi in a pick up selling them ( and probably fitting them). Anyone have an idea of cost as I'd like some more shade for the hot season and protection from rain blowing in?
