Re: British lady dies having an anesthetic in a BKK beauty c

Medical cock ups happen all over the world not just in Thailand. I'm sure we are all aware of some disasters that took place in our home countries.

Re: Dog Trainer?

I agree that a shock collar can be very beneficial. Both my dogs chased sheep when they were pups and they did not realise what they were doing was wrong. It was only the use of a shock collar that stopped them. Having said that I feel a shock collar should only be used as a last resort and not as a...

Re: 12 Natural Ways to Fight Depression

One of the best ways to fight depression is physical exercise. That said it is often difficult to feel like exercising if one feels depressed. This is where a friend comes in and gives you the encouragement( push) that you need. Reaching out and admitting you are depressed is very positive, too many...

Re: Need Suggestion- Hua Hin trip plan

Well for a first trip to HuaHin a visit to the restaurants at the pier would be good. Eat a very good meal at a great price, looking out to sea under the stars. They make look a bit dilapidated from the outside but don't let that put you off. Directions- from the Hilton head towards the sea, turn left...

Re: Electricity in Hua Hin

Nowadays generators are very cheap. I got one from Lidl in the UK for £75 . Uses unleaded petrol and has 2 a/c sockets enough to power a freezer and the internet connection. If you work from home or engage in trading via the internet it is comforting to know you have a back up. It would appear from ...

Re: CNN vs BBC

Sadly most news reporting seems to be a means whereby the media moguls can attempt to shape public opinion. The BBC should be an exception but their left wing bias has badly affected their credibility . I feel in fact there is very little news and probably three 20 minute programmes a day would do i...

Re: Elephant Treking

I feel if the elephants and other animals are well cared for it's not a problem. Quite simply we all have to earn our keep, I don't expect elephants will be kept as pets. Only give Patronage to the ethically run establishments.

Yes especially if they are Spanish visitors - quite common in Spain to start dinner after midnight then hit the bars after that.

Re: Looking for an exterior painting contractor

That was very smart thinking. Reminds me of when I was a dental student- we had to get each stage of the procedure signed off by a clinician before commencing the next stage. Don't know why I didn't think of that for the painters!
