What happens when you connect to overseas IP addresses (again, via your local ISP's gateway) is another matter. If it's not as fast you still can't complain that you don't have the ...

Re: Arrival to carousel time at BKK airport?

Go through the Asean line, it is mostly empty and they herd the farangs into two or three ridiculously long queues for whatever reason.

Re: Fibre Optic router for 3BB

Well Tesco is not a wholesaler and you can purchase in bulk at any time from Makro
You cant - we tried it yesterday.

Re: Thailand Tourist Friendly?

Then why wont Makro or Tesco sell it out of hours?

I think we're missing the point of the thread here, tourists are not going to wholesalers, they'll pop into a seven eleven - which will not sell it.

Re: Thailand Tourist Friendly?

Is this being relaxed now? In Bangkok, you can again buy alcohol at any time at Villa Market. This used to the case, then it was stopped and now you can again - I did so yesterday. Not sure about Hua Hin, although the last time I was there Tesco chained off the alcohol section and Gourmet Market ha...

Re: Thailand Tourist Friendly?

Some more recent ones ... No e-cigarettes. Cant have a beer on a train. No pretty girls at an international motor show. No beer gardens. Raids on microbreweries and real ale establishments. Music restrictions for the past year. Stupid time restrictions on buying alcohol. Rampant, almost state encour...

Re: Fibre Optic router for 3BB

Today I checked my Internet speed with my 3BB fiber optic line both using network cable connected direct to my modem and over the built-in wifi from the same router. I have the 200/100 package. My modem is Huawei HG8245H. Tested the speed using www.speedtest.net towards 3bb's server in Bangkok. Wel...
