Re: The Recommended Movies Thread
I thought I'd seen all Morgan Freeman's movies. I don't know how I missed this one with Angelina Jolie.
'Wanted' from 2008. Great movie and one to keep.
Download in 4K from YTS.

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
Two Sinovac vaccine jabs help stimulate Thais immunity against Covid-19 by over 50 per cent, Chulalongkorn Universitys Faculty of Medicine said on Saturday. In contrast, the AZ vaccine: A single dose of AstraZeneca's shot was 76% effective at protecting against COVID-19 with symptoms for at least 9...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News
Sinovac and now Sinopharm. Aren't we lucky! Here's what happens when an authority in China tells the truth: George Gao, the head of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, acknowledged the poor efficacy of China’s vaccines at a conference in April, in what seemed to be an unintentiona...

For a vaccination station, the people waiting don't look very spaced out.
It doesn't give much of a sense of safety.

Re: 3D Movies
That's interesting but I wonder if you get the full 'Tools Menu' on the TV version. For VLC to play in anaglyph: 1. Load your movie (You'll notice that it comes up as two images -side by side) 2. Click Tools > Effects and Filters > Video Effects > Advanced > Anaglyph (check box) > Close 3. You'll no...

Re: 3D Movies
I doubt there's any TV which allows you to put VLC etc on. I have my laptop connected via HDMI so my TV screen is turned into a big computer screen.
To be honest, although I have a 'smart' TV, I've no idea just how smart that is as for years I've always used my TV as a monitor.

Re: 3D Movies
Fleet in Hampshire.
Incidentally, you gave the impression that it comes with a lot of hassle.
1. download the movie
2. view it using VLC. The conversion is in real time and literally takes a few seconds before sitting back and watching.
Of course, a prerequisite is having the glasses.

My daughter took a stick full of 3D movies back to the UK along with a few pair of glasses. She tells me those that have watched them use the same word as yourself......."WOW'!!

Re: 3D Movies
They stopped making 3D tv's some time ago due to the cost and that it wasn't a factor when buying a TV. So now you're stuck with anaglyph (red/cyan glasses). Yes, you can watch on your PC. You can even watch on your phone although it's a little weird watching something jumping out of such a small sc...

Re: 3D Movies
Well, surprisingly, it seems I'm the only one hooked on 3D. YTS has over 300 3D movies. I'd recommend giving them a go. It's not for everybody I know but I think it puts movies on a new level. My granddaughter will watch Frozen and some of the other animations several times a week. It certainly has ...
