I worry more about how good a service my car or truck is getting hence driving to Toyota Cha am (North of the railway line) after less than impressive maintenance by Toyota Hua Hin. Wifi, noodles and TV etc still available there too though.

Don't get put off by lots of views and few responses. There is a huge amount of information on the forum and specific questions will usually get a sensible response. We took the back roads route you describe but in honesty if you are not familiar with the road and baulk at hairy overtakes it would probably be as quick to go to Kanchanaburi on the major roads and then head down to Ban Phu Nam Ron.

I did the visa run to Phu Nam Ron today and all went well. Used the one that is run from the shop at the front of Condochain. Would recommend this to anyone needing to do this, obviously more expensive than doing it yourself but as much as I like driving this was so much easier.

A picture would help or more information. The price sounds good but you will get more interest if you say the frame size, how many gears, bike manufacturer and other useful information.

Have flown with Malaysian Airlines in the past and would do so again. I do not have any specific good or bad memories of the flights and if the price was good would not hesitate to use them.

Expedia are okay but Agoda seems to work better here in Thailand (my personal opinion for what it's worth).
