Re: E-books and e-book readers
I must be missing a step.
I've got a book loaded using Telegram but whilst I can see it on my desktop I can't understand how to get it to Kindle. I thought it would appear on my download file but it doesn't.

Lost,
Is your link through Tor correct?
I get US employment and recipes for onion soup sites when I search.
Thanks.

Re: E-books and e-book readers
Must admit that I thought the demise of Z-Library was always in the offing. It was just too good. I just wasn't expecting to find it gone this morning when I tried to download Cormac McCarthy's latest book. I had noticed over the months that some new releases were not downloadable as the author hadn...

Re: E-books and e-book readers
Oh no.
The FBI have seized and taken down the Z-Library site. Seems to have happened within the last 24 hours.
Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative torrent site that might be able to compare in any way to the above?
Damn. Z-Library was excellent.

Re: Monthly golf membership
Some of the courses have the occasional offer of xxx number of rounds over a period of time for discounted green fees but I think you'll find them few and far between as we enter "high season" in October. And I doubt you'll find courses offering group deals. One option would be to approach...

That's what happened to me with a single entry mid July.
I took a photo but it wasn't necessary. They used one of those desk cameras.

Re: Thailand Immigration: TM30 24 hour reporting thread
I flew in last Friday and I have no TM30 slip stapled into my passport any more simply because they've been abandoned. They are defunct. However, I'd suggest a 90 day report will be necessary. It's a pain to remember and count 90 days from the entry but that's been the case for as long as I can reme...

Re: Thailand plans to decriminalize cannabis
In my view, the main thing, once this new bill is passed, is whether legal strength will be limited to 0.2 per cent.
If so, forget legal recreational smoking.
If there's no strength limit then it's back to all systems go with some restrictions such as age and so on.

Yes, the entry/departure cards are scrapped.
But you've still got an entry stamp so count your days from there.

Re: Flying to/from Thailand, latest updates
Flew Thai to Heathrow yesterday and whilst most people were wearing masks at Swampy, a lot weren't and noone was enforcing it.
Likewise on the flight. Most were not wearing masks.

I'm glad I'm getting out of this messed up country for a while.
Covid, monkey stuff, reefer madness etc.
I give up.

Best ask the airline but I agree with above.
I'm not bothering with the tests either way to the UK next month.
