Re: The Recommended Movies Thread

Just looking for a bit of sympathy and understanding from a certain individual recently, and this is the response I get: - "Now bugger off, you're interrupting Dune 2!" (I shan't add the graphics).... Just harsh, so harsh. :( A certain individual who will undoubtedly remain nameless! :oop...

I can't even get to a bleeding window (mind you, Newport in South Wales is a tad off the path of things) - hence the Internet... Though that link isn't working either.

Re: Which Mobile Phone?

Has to be said, my phone is far from the latest model and then hardly top of the range when new - I'm guessing 4-5 years old now, but a "Headphone Jack"? :D

Re: The Recommended Movies Thread

Currently downloading Dune Part 2 from YIFY Just finished this. Very good, possibly better than no. 1, and only slightly spoiled for me by the girl with the permanent scowl and the amount of whispering and hushed voices. Looking forward to no. 3!  Well, I've not seen 1 yet, but I'm...

Re: Looking For New Tablet

From what I've seen over the last year or 2 is that the C-Port has come in more and more. As mensioned on this thread, my Lenovo Tab has a C-Port, but also my Samsung phone has the same connection, my (and the LHG's) Earbuds have a C-Port for charging. In fact, aside from any "Apple" devic...

Wo ho calm down, each to their own opinion, and there's certainly no need for judgement or assumption from you ! My apologies - no judgment, but I have to stick by some assumptions  Seriously though, us Welsh can get a tad stroppy when things don't go our way - sporting results followed close...

Re: Premier League 2023-24

Well Liverpool should have won, but they didn’t meaning Arsenal are on top by a much superior goal difference - the way things are going it looks like it could all be decided on the last day of the season!! Missed this (and the rugby on Sunday :( ), though it sounds like Liverpool should have been ...

Re: 2024 F1 News and Prediction League

Imho F1 has become boring. Not enough fight for winning. The last year's only Hamilton and Verstappen. I know F1 needs to be the top end wrgds to development and finding new cutting edge technologies, but racing where everyone has the same equipment is SO much more competitive and entertaining! YNW...

Re: Looking For New Tablet

OK guys, I've gone for my upper range Samsung, minus the 5G capability. I'm happy it will more than meet my modest requirements. I did go for the 11" in the end as the higher spec 8.7" model did not seem to be available, and there was quite a difference in power. Thank you to all who cont...

Re: The Rugby Thread

I was going to tank you for sorting out my day's rugby, but on closer examination I'll opt for: Exeter-Bath 3pm Bordeaux-Sarries 5.30pm Lenister-Leicester 8pm Three games (plus the earlier F1 Qualifying) would be crossing a line with the LHG that is not on the cards shall we say..... I'm allowed th...

Before suffering the wrath of "Nereus" for my bias for Mercedes and against Red BS... "Meanwhile, Mercedes were on the receiving end of a €5,000 fine – but not a grid drop – after the stewards found that they’d unsafely released Russell into the path of McLaren’s Oscar Piastri ...
